I had read that there are places to eat and drink to the south of the river, but my ageing map reading skills were severely tested. Then we came across this fairly modern bar/restaurant near the South Railway Station. The beer, wine and German menu were exactly what we were looking for, with helpful English speaking waiters. We were served buffet style so I can't comment on the regular menu items, but the food we were served was very good. I especially enjoyed the fennel risotto and the Prime Rib. The restaurant building is beautiful. I would definitely return to try the regular menu items. Set up the barrier one pole at a time starting at the wall. Leave the plastic loose at the bottom and make sure the spring at the top of the pole is not compressed all the way.

We tried the local specialties, as the menu was decided for us by our company hosts. We sampled a typical Hesse delicacy called, if memory serves me hand kasse, which is a strong cheese with onions. All of the appetizer dishes came in small jam jar sized containers, for us all to share. A sort of German, or Hesse tapas if you like. Hesse is an area of Germany, very proud of its traditions, and it's warm hearted citizens. We had a very enjoyable night, being serenaded by a brass quartet, as we tucked into the fine food and excellent beers on offer.
Served drinks and buffet food, stereotypical German cuisine. Kind of reminds me of a Gordon Biersch in San Francisco. Not bad, but wasn't memorable either. A 20 foot anodized aluminum pole is also available. We visited this nice place with a group of 200 people. We had a very good meal, a nice buffet with lot's of variety.

Indeed, such was the conviviality of our hosts, that they slowed one of our number to play saxophone with them, though we had to continually tease him before he would do it. Well done Howard, if you fix forklifts like you play sax you are a legend. A great night, with great company and entertainment.
Compliments for handling such a big group. Probably one of the best in frankfurt. Traditional food with an international touch. Ideal for professional contractors – both commercial and residential
Beyond construction, the ZipWall® barrier system is widely used for abatement, mold remediation, water damage or flood restoration, and other interior jobs where contaminants in the dust are a concern. I have visited this restaurant several times with family and also hosting groups of students. I recommend the local Frankfurt alcoholic beverage, Apfelwein, which is served in larger containers, called "Bembel"s, and which can be mixed with mineral water or Fanta.
